The role of the Mario Negri Institute of Pharmacological Research in industrial research projects

Mr. Andrea Remuzzi talks about the role of the Mario Negri Institute of Pharmacological Research in industrial reaserch projects. The Mario Negri institute has a long-standing reputation for biomedical scientific research. Since its foundation in 1961, its researchers have been investigating the relationship between the environment and diseases in order to be able to develop appropriate treatments.

As Mr. Remuzzi explains, the contribution of the institute to industrial research projects, and thus to COBRA, lies in studying the impact of break wear particle emissions on cells. Mario Negri researchers' underlying goal is to reduce or avoid such environmental effects on living systems.

Finally, the institute is also involeved in the LOWBRASYS project, whose aim is to design a low environmental impact brake system. To know more about LOWBRASYS visit.:
